I wouldn't stress too much about it. Just try to make it casual and relaxed. You can all tell stories about how you met, talk about the wedding - just think about things they may all have in common with each other! Smiley smile

In one wedding party I was in, the bride was from a small town. All of her bridesmaids were from the same town except me, so I was kind of the outcast. The other BMs were awesome at trying to include me in all conversations even though they all knew each other and were friends - they knew it was important to the bride that we all got along and included everyone. I'm sure your BMs will feel the same and will be fine meeting each other.

I had a meet an greet a few weeks ago........First make sure that everyone is on the same page.......This is your day !!! Discuss the date, colors, attire, even small things such as nails, tattoos, hair and shoes. We set a deadline for bridal party dresses to be purchased........sit back relax and just think what you expect, and what you made need some assistance with........It will be fun !!!

Date, Dress ideas, colors, shoes, hair and makeup and budget.

Whan I had my meet-n-greet I cooked and had mostly all the girls and one groomsmen, where we had a great time, the men went one way and the girls another way and looked at magazines and dresses, colors and shoes that would work for all the body types. Then a month later had another at the bridal store to try on the dresses and photograph them to see what works which was good to have them on seperate shifts, no egos!! And it was the MOH that found all the dresses and colors that complimented the ladies! I wish you luck. Even invite the FG to make her feel special! I had curry chicken, cabbage, rice, and dessert and various beverages.

We did a meet and greet for our bridal party as well. Although everyone had met at some point, this was an opportunity for everyone to meet at once. We had light appetizers (fruit/vegetable platter, cheese & crackers and fingers sandwiches with tea and lemondae) During this time, we discussed:

1 Date, time and location of ceremony and reception

2 Dates/times for shopping transportation and deadline to purchase all attire

3 Tattoos, hair and nails (some of my girls where the way too long)

4 Guests (3 guys and 2 girls are not married)

5 Expectations during ceremony and reception

After the meeting, we ate dinner and just talked. Before we departed, we confirmed their home, cell and work numbers and personal email.

I think this idea....I my bridesmaids and I and going to do something like this. I wanted to do a spa day for our meet and greet, but I think that it is going to turn into our bachelorette party weekend.....

also, I think we are going to do a meet and greet with bridesmaids and groomsman, probably something like bowling or somehting.....

La-Kia, this is not wedding related but you had me sold on the curry chicken and cabbage. One of my bridesmaid moved to Texas and that was my favorite meal from her.

I would ask everyone to tell something about themselves. Or do a mad lib that each person fills out about themselves. Maybe tell a hobby or something. If you make it all about you and your wedding it wont be a meet and greet for them. Maybe a Q and A for 10 min?

    This is a cute idea.

You don't have to do gifts, I would save that for the RD. But it might be cute to give them flowers or candy or something small.

Since that's still 5/6 months before the wedding I'd say just discuss wedding details so far. Let them know if you need help, type of help and stuff. Can play some icebreaker games to get everyone comfortable. I'd say hold off all gifts for rehearsal dinner cause some BM drop out or change their minds down the line.

Make it fun, and don't go overboard with the food. Make some fingerfoods, snacks etc ...play some games like you would at a shower. Smiley laugh
