Bridesmaids in white ok? Colour Scheme?

I want every thing in white and diamonds every where! So i am on board with your idea.

Maybe try explaining your vision to your BM and just say explain that traditionally that is what was done!

I love the all-white inspiration pics, and I REALLY love that last inspiration pic Mrs Smith posted with the mismatched pastel and grey colored dresses. OMG I think that's beautiful.

People thought I was nuts when I wanted my girls mismatched, too. Like there's some law that BMs have to wear a uniform from head to toe! It's a wedding, not the Marines!

Attire does not affect the comfort of your guests. It's just an expression of your style. As long as you're cognizant of your WP's budgets and comfort level, that's one area where I believe you can pick what you want to match your vision.

I LOVE your BM picture and if your second picture is what you're thinking of wearing as the bride. Well, there is no question who the bride is and that bridal dress would def outshine your BM dresses. Your BM are tea length, if they went to the floor, I think I would have of an issue.

On the other hand, champaigne IS a nice color - I had to wear it for one of my best friend's weddings.

IMO, it's about what the bride and groom wants. If you want your girls to wear white they should wear what you would like them to wear.

I honestly think in pictures it would be boring too, add color just a touch, Ivory or Champagne would be amazing, just something to offset all the white!

I see where your friends are coming from and I think they are doing out of respect for you.... everyone knows only the bride should wear white!

I don't have any issue with bridesmaids wearing white. But then again, I would choose as attendants the people closest to me, so if it really bothered two of the six of them, I'd be looking for another option.
