There's not really such thing as too little or too many bridesmaids! Have whoever you'd like in your bridal party. Just remember that more bridesmaids = more money spent on gifts for each one!

There is no "good" number. You should make your decision based on who you can't imagine not standing next to you. We had five on each side. I was in my brother's wedding and it was just me and my sister on the bride's side and my brother had my dad and his best friend. My husband's one friend had 10 people on each side. There is no hard fast rule on how many people you should or shouldn't have.

I think it’s whatever you want, but also a little dependent on how big your wedding is. Wouldn’t make sense to have a huge bridal party for a small wedding. But whatever is good for you works! We are have 5 bridesmaids!

I mean, that's a pretty bleak way to view your closest group of friends. Additionally, your wedding party can be made up of any gender.

OP, definitely just choose the people closest to you. There's no magic number.
