Bridesmaid's hair/makeup trial?

Original VC, on May 1, 2015 at 12:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

I messaged my BMs yesterday to send them the hair/makeup appt. details, and one of them replied this: "Is there a time to go in for a practice run or is it just the one day". I told her that if she wanted a trial I'll gladly book her for the same day I'll have mine, but she said she didn't want it, just wanted to know.

So, now I'm wondering if I was supposed to book a trial for her. She's the only BM in town so i'd be just for her, if at all. Are your BMs having a hair/makeup trial?

No. Just the bride has a trial usually. If she wants to pay for one I'm sure she could but its definitely not necessary.

Mine are not, I didn't really even think about it. Last wedding I was in was on the other side of the country so it wasn't even an option for me.

Normally it's just for the bride. I never done a trial for any wedding I've been in because it cost money to do the trials and who wants to pay more money for something that isn't needed unless she wants to pay the extra to have it.

One of my MOH's is doing a trial on the same day as me but that's because it's her baby shower that day & the trial price was cheaper than just getting event makeup done lol. My other MOH and my bridesmaids won't be getting trials

No trials for my BMs, and I've never had one when I was a bridesmaid either.

No trials for BMs. But I'm sure they could do one if they paid.

No, it's a waste of money I think.

I've been a BM at least 6 times and I've never had a hair trial, even though for all of those weddings our hair was professionally done.

Bridesmaid trials aren't necessary unless they want one. My bridesmaids didn't have a trial and their hair and makeup came out great the day of.
