Bridesmaids dresses

Good news is that your wedding is 7 months away and plenty of time to still order dresses. Bad news, a lot of factories in China are closed right now and will probably have to deal with an insane about of backorders once they reopen causing major delays to deliveries. I am dealing with a delay in some wedding stuff as well and not sure if it will arrive in April. I think some factories should be starting to open back up in the next couple of weeks depending on their location, but you should definitely find a plan B solution that doesn’t involve anything being made in China.

My problem is that my bridesmaids sizes rage from a AU 8-20 which means that no matter where I shop from, they will need to be ordered in.

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re having, Blaise. I’ve heard this is happening to a lot of people. My heart goes out to everyone in China and all the countries affected by the virus. It’s very scary.

Have you researched dress designers that are manufactured elsewhere?

Thanks Cliodhna, unfortunately most of the dresses in Australia that arent off the rack are ordered in from China. I have found a company that I like who have promised me that there wont be any delay with delivery so I am going to order the dresses this week and keep my fingers crossed that they arrive quickly
