Bridesmaids Dresses, match or mix?

We did a different dress for MOH than the other bridesmaids but all the same color

I am doing same color/length but different styles I chose to do that because I think maroon looks good on everyone and so that each girl would be confident in her dress

I’m just doing 2 and a junior. They ended up picking the same one, but one sister is trying to get pregnant so we are holding off on hers to see. It may be different.

The junior has a similar style (1 shoulder) but it is lace vs mesh

I like the same color, different styles

I went back and forth on this as well. I’m having a fall wedding so my 4 bridesmaids are each picking a different style dress on azazie in black. I’m getting them burgundy pashminas. I personally don’t like the idea of them all matching exactly but wanted color to match

I've been debating the same thing! I only have two co-MOH's so cant decide if it would look funny for them to be in the same dress, but two different colors - although I kind of like the idea of it!

I'm in a wedding in June and the bride gave us 3 paint swatches and a preferred length and let us pick our own dress. The swatches were great because she is getting the color palette she wants but we can choose what we are comfortable in!

I did the same dress, different colors.
I knew I wanted a ton of color.
And different shades of one color just ain't my thing.
I also picked a dress that I thought would flatter everyone's figure.

I’m doing same color, different dresses as long as it is long and not overly bedazzled. I gave them suggestions but they don’t have to pick from the dresses I showed, just general inspiration

Not every style dress looks good on each girl. So I personally like the idea of same color different style.

I told the women in my party that I wanted the same color, at least tea length, and something that would be suitable for August, but also a church wedding (...which is no longer applicable, but oh, well).
Then 3 out of 4 of them chose the same dress, so I asked the 4th to get that dress.

It looks great on 3 different body types and skin tones, so it should probably look great on a 4th type.

It's purple, it's flowy, it's pretty. They're happy, I'm happy.

I decided to go with a blue palette. The girls in the bridesmaid shop I used were SO helpful in helping me pick out which shades. I assigned a shade to each bridesmaid (floral for my two honorary ‘maids) and then took them each to the shop to try on styles in their color. So, I picked the colors and then they chose a style they loved the most. It was the best of everything! I got to find a dress I felt beautiful in and I wanted them all to do the same!

Between ya'lls feedback and emailing the girls "scrapebooks" of different ideas, I have narrowed it down to bridesmaids in one color and MOH being different.

Now its a matter of grays or blues....

I'm doing a mix up with my color scheme. I have three girls and one guy. I let them pick things that they were comfortable in (with veto power) and they all have ruching and a slit on the same side, but different necklines. They are in three different blues as well, and I loved how it turned out!

Hey Colby!! Have you decided on what color scheme you want for your BMs?

I'm going to play dress up with my girls at a bridal salon and go from there. I'm hoping that, maybe seeing it in person will give me a better idea.
