Bridesmaid vs groomsmen gift price?

My fiancé spent about $40 on each of his groomsmen, but I plan to spend more on my bridesmaids. Maybe closer to $75. They have been there for me throughout the whole process, and let's face it, being a bridesmaid costs much more in both money and time than being a groomsman does. The bridesmaids have to pay for a dress, hair, nails, the shower, bachelorette party. Our groomsmen aren't even wearing suits and they basically just have to show up. Not to say they don't deserve a gift for being their all our lives. Because they certainly do. I just am wondering if it's wrong to spend almost double on the bridesmaids because I feel that mine have gone above and beyond for me?

I don't see it being a problem. We bought the guys hand painted beer glasses (each with their name and a sports team that they like), and we bought the girls bracelets. We also got engraved picture frames for them since each person is in the wedding with their SO. The frames have their names but nothing wedding specific, and we're going to put a picture of them from the wedding in it. Then I decided I want to pay for the girls to have their hair done just to give them a little pampering. Technically, we're spending more on the girls, but I don't think any of the guys will care because although I'm not dictating how their hair will be done, it's still for the wedding.

You are perfectly fine spending more on the bridesmaids. Bridesmaids have so many more responsibilities. To put it into a business perspective it would be like comparing a Board Member of a fortune 500 company to a mail room clerk in the same company.
