Bridesmaid Proposals...

I hope I don't stick out like a sore thumb, but does anyone else think that bridesmaid proposals are a little cliche and obnoxious? I bought mine all cards from etsy and that's how I am asking them. Nothing extravagant. I may take each out for lunch and give it to them then. or just give it to them....

Talk about expenses!! Bridesmaids' boxes, bathrobes for some posed pics which can't be considered a "gift", gifts for saying Thank You for being a Bridesmaid and probably a mani and pedi. Good Lord. There's an hour of your Open Bar!

I literally got them each a ring pop. The over the top boxes are cute but honestly cost too much money.

Eh I did it. My MOH lives 8 hours away and I sent her a little box with a wine glass asking her and a little bottle of wine. It didn't cost much at all. I made my bridesmaid a taco basket with all the makings (she's Very open about her love for tacos) and we stood there crying like babies lol. I only have two and it was great. To each it's own I guess.

I did a card and wrote a sweet note inside and gave it individually to each one whenever I happened to see them lol it wasn't anything extravagant and I certainly didn't go out of my way to plan anything cute

I asked my MOH face to face but I called each of my bridesmaids (individually of course) and asked them. It never crossed my mind to do a proposal. I think that is not necessary and just too much, IMO.

Yup I never understood it and I love all things wedding. I did a brunch and asked my girls in person.

I agree I plan to buy cards and just give it them personally
