So I've only seen one other person do this but has anyone ever hosted like a brunch or dinner to ask your bridesmaids ? I'm calling it a bridesmaid proposal party lol ? Am I being corny ? I just figured it's easier to have them all together rather than run there little gifts to them all seperate

Thanks everyone ! Leighanna S it's very common here as well ! And yes all these girls have been my best friend since little girls -- they pretty much all expect it anyway we've been talking about it since before I got engaged lol and plus I was in 3 of there weddings just this past year - so they owe me Smiley winking (kidding of course) but thanks everyone for your opinions , a lot of people on here tell me to wait until 6 months before the wedding but everyone in my town and friends tell me I'm crazy if I wait since the bulk of the planning will be in this next year and I'll went my bridesmaids there as support and we all love doing it together

I had a Wedding Get Together right after my Engagement where I asked each of my Bridesmaids with a gift, I did it as a group. This allowed them to get to know one another & begin interacting.

I think a bridesmaid brunch is nice and I'll probably do one close to the wedding, but I'd ask them personally in case they need/want to decline and feel awkward

I did this and it was amazing! I did it around my birthday and called it a "birthday lunch" so they had no idea! I'll attach a picture below :-) It was also really cool and everyone got to meet each other and get the details all at once! I got them all mason jar tumbler's with their name on it. I highly recommend doing this!!

Hi, may I ask what you ended up doing? I have something very similar planned in a few weeks but everything I am seeing online is telling me I shouldn’t or at least ask them beforehand and use the get-together as a celebration for the girls who do say yes.
