Bridesmaid gifts

Haley, on February 5, 2020 at 1:52 PM Posted in Planning 1 30
Okay ladies I have no idea what to get for my bridesmaid for their gifts. I wanna save money but still show them how much I care about them.
Has anyone else ran into this issue?
What is everyone else doing?

I think there's some really inexpensive but nice options you can pull together. For instance I got them a tote bag and filled it with stuff like face masks, compact mirrors, lotions, etc. And collectively those things can be found for a good price

I was stumped for awhile on bridesmaids gifts. The best advice would be to shop for them like it's their birthdays (doing my best on this part lol) and not gift them anything that says "bridesmaid", they'll never use it again. I got all three of my girls cotton robes with no words on them that they can reuse, pashmina shawls to use with their dresses if they get cold but can also reuse, then I'm getting each of them their favorite wine along with a gift individual to them. For example, FSIL loves those really detailed adult coloring book things, so I'm going to get her one of those. My MOH loves alcohol and reading, so I'm getting her a cocktail recipe book with famous literary references.

I’m having 2 bridesmaids (my sister and sister in law). I plan on getting them a Kendra Scott necklace & some type of shawl/stole to use on our wedding day. They’re planning my bachelorette & shower. I may add something else to their gift because I feel like it’s not enough for what they’re doing!

I’m looking into flannel shirts with their names on the back or something like that for us to all get ready together in

I've always thought writing a thank you letter to each girl is so sweet & so meaningful. Then gifting something smaller, like a bottle of wine or a gift card for $25 to starbucks or something, is great!

Wow that’s such a good idea! I’m definitely stealing the wine idea! Only thing is that could get kinda pricey since I have 6 girls 😂

I’m doing personalized champagne glasses, makeup bags and a tote bag. Smiley smile I got them all on amazon for a decent price.

I got each of them a plush blanket from Vera Bradley (the kind that folds into a pillow and hooks onto your suitcase, their sales are amazing!), and tote bags with their names on them. I’m not a fan of robes and I thought blankets were more practical. I’ve seen girls gifting their bridesmaids the cost of their hair and/or makeup which I think is really nice too!

I think I'm planning to give them their favorite bottle of wine with an engraved wine tumbler with their first name initial.

I am thinking about getting shirts made for my bridesmaids, getting them bath bombs, a Beauty and the Beast figure (Beauty and the Beast is the theme), and probably other spa type of stuff.

I asked my girls (or going to some haven't seen yet) with a bottle of liquor. The morning of the wedding I will gift them jewelry set (sunflowers to wear in the wedding), sunflower socks to wear with their boots, and a smaller (shot size) bottle of liquor.

I'm painting a few ipsy bags in the wedding colors with their names on them, then I'll fill them with their wedding jewelry and chocolate!

I’m purchasing from Etsy. I found some cute makeup bags that I can have their names put on and then a koozie that says brides babes on it for about $100 for 8 ladies.
