Bridesmaid gifts

Fellow brides what are you doing for your bridesmaid gifts and when are you giving them out? I'm not creative at all but want to do something special for the girls. Looking to spend $100-150 for a total of 5 bridesmaids so nothing too extreme! Thanks in advance!

I bought bracelets for the girls to wear day of and I got Button down plain shirts for us to decorate and wear while getting ready. The ones with the red are for my girls (dress color red) and silver one for the two grooms women on FH’s side (their color is gray)

I bought a super cute canvas bag for each of them with their name on it from etsy ($14 each)

Rose gold bracelet from lulu's for $10 each

And a couple of face masks that were $2 each (one for hydration and one for post party hangover recovery).

Hand lotion (I bought a pack and split them up).

And flip flops to wear around the venue getting ready
(Old navy in wedding colors for super cheap)

I love the bag idea because they will all need to carry their things out after the wedding. And you can always find small inexpensive things to put in them.

Most importantly - a letter thanking them for being sp special and important in my life.

I want to spend $100-150 total. I've found some bridesmaid bundles on Etsy in sets of 5 that are in that price range so I'm learning towards something like that!

I’m not exactly sure how it was done, but my FMIL took pictures of each of her bridesmaids parents or grandparents on their wedding day and made them in to little charms that were in their bouquets and then later gave them a bracelet so they could attach them if they wanted. It was super cute and personal for each one.

I got them each weekender bags from Etsy, and I let them choose the color. For the married/engaged girls, I put their monogram and for the single/dating girls I put their name on it. I think each bag was $40 including shipping. I also got them robes from Etsy, but I didn't consider that to be part of the gift and they were $140 for 6 robes (including mine). I also got them each coffee cups (for the coffee drinkers) or water bottles (non-coffee drinkers) from Anthropologie (don't remember the cost...maybe like $12 each?). For the girls that opted in for HMU, I paid for part of it (roughly 25% of the cost since I didn't want them spending over $120 on HMU).

I gave my girls all their gifts within a month or so of me getting engaged. it was proposal boxes. They consisted of:

a wine tumbler that says "I do Crew"

a rose gold bracelet with a knot and their initial in a charm on it

a liquor sample of their favorite brands

and then everyone got an Ole Smoky Mountain Moonshine sample (announcing where we were getting married).

For our wedding we rented a 9 bedroom cabin for us and our wedding party and so I also made getting ready robes that will have their initials monogrammed on the front. I made them because I didn't want the generic Bridesmaid robes or anything like that. We are getting married in Fall, in the mountains in a barn so I bought a bunch of plaid flannel and made the robes! Smiley smile

I think in total between all these things I may have spent $200 (that includes postage as a few bridesmaids are out of state).

I also have little wine totes I made them for our bachelorette weekend next weekend!

I love all these ideas! I'm still in the budgeting stage, and didn't even think to plan for bridesmaids gifts. I have a bit of a weird situation, in that 3 of my bridesmaids will be my little sisters, so my parents would otherwise bear the expense of all of their apparel and getting ready costs. I was already planning on taking care of beauty supplies, or maybe dresses, so idk. I really want to look into the cost of a small spa package for everyone day before or day-of, and that would be my gift. (If I can get a good group rate - but it is really expensive from what I am seeing.) I love the robes! What do you do if one of your "bridesmaids" is a good male friend? Group him in with the groomsmen for gender-specific getting ready things?

I have a male friend in my bridal party, and I just got gifts that were relatively gender-neutral!

I got robes (not the silky ones, they're like cotton and kaftan striped) in neutral colors (gray), and he likes robes, so i know he'll wear them too. And then I got personalized tumblers in a gender-neutral font and all black, because I know everyone will use those! So my advice would just be to think of some pratical, maybe gender-neutral gifts that you know they all would enjoy! Or you could always get him something a little different!
