Bridesmaid gifts

Kaitlin, on August 12, 2019 at 3:45 PM Posted in Planning 2 48
Fellow brides what are you doing for your bridesmaid gifts and when are you giving them out? I'm not creative at all but want to do something special for the girls. Looking to spend $100-150 for a total of 5 bridesmaids so nothing too extreme! Thanks in advance!

I made my girls personalized cups and then I bought them all word bracelets on Etsy. For each bridesmaid I will be writing them a note on why I chose that word for them. In total I think I spent about 100$

We gave them out at the rehearsal dinner. Each girl got a tote, tumbler, getting ready outfit (they picked out of 3 options), pair of socks, and a letter. I paid for HAMU and nails for each girl that wanted it (they picked their own style and look though). For the bachelorette, I paid for 1 dinner for everyone and gave each girl a camping wine tumbler and a hangover kit. For the proposal, I gave them a wood jewelry box, liquor shooter, nail polish, and hair ties.

In total I gave: tote bags, socks, bride tribe shirts, hair ties, necklace and bracelet bow knot set (thanks for helping me tie the knot), face mask, lotion, gift cards, hangover kit, compact mirror, and bath salts. I split these up into three gifts and gave em after my shower, bachelorette and rehearsal dinner

I got each girl a personalized Yeti. $40 each on Etsy. I wanted to get them something they could actually use after my big day. I also got them each a sheet mask to use the night before for fun (we're all staying in a hotel together)

The personalized Yetis look really nice! Through whom did you purchase them on Etsy?

I’m not 100% on what exact gifts I will be giving my bridesmaids yet, but I was thinking personalized tote bags (probably monogrammed) with satin robes and sandals to wear while getting ready...but I really like the Yetis, too!

Gifts to my bridesmaids include: personalized waterbottles, personalized trinket/jewelry dish, navy robe, earrings, a knot bracelet and a note. I then put everything in one of those nice photo storage boxes with some filler and a faux flower for decoration. I probably spent about $35 per bridesmaid.

I used a shop on Etsy called “ImpressMeGifts”
I purchased them one day and they shipped the next without even paying express shipping. Shop was really easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Are you spending 100/150 each or total? I’m wondering what’s a good amount. I purchased their bridesmaids dresses. It’s a destination wedding and we covered the house for wedding party to stay!

I am getting married at the end of October and it may be chilly, so I'll be gifting my (4) bridesmaids each a nice scarf/shawl to wear, one of the interchangeable ones, in their dress colors to wear day-of. My MOH and I will be embroidering their initials to make them more personalized (and save money). It shouldn't cost me more than $100 after shipping assuming I don't just find super comfy scarves at Target over this fall/winter.

So first off I do have a Cricut. I was able to personalize everything myself and just had to buy the vinyl I needed ($1-ish a sheet).

Water Bottles from Walmart: $5 each

Robes from Etsy: $18 each including shipping

Earrings from Kohls: Technically free because I used Kohls cash given to me.

Knot Bracelet from Kohls: $6 each (on sale and % off)

Trinket Dish from Michaels: $1 each (they are technically mini ceramic baking dishes)

Photo Storage Box from Michaels: $2.50 each (on sale)

Paper Filler from Dollar Tree: $1/bag (1 bag per box)

So the ring dishes are actually mini ceramic baking dishes from Michaels that I purchased for $1 each. And then I used my Cricut and some vinyl to personalize them.
