Bridesmaid dresses

My wedding dress is strapless, all tulle and I plan to add a sparkly belt. Would it look okay if my bridesmaids had some lace on the top half of their dresses. The skirt would be mesh material. Or some bridesmaids with with lace and some without.

It's not really common anymore to try and match the bridesmaid dress with the wedding dress. Instead, it is becoming more common for the bride to let her girls choose whatever dress they want to wear in the color and length the bride designates. That's what I did. I just told my girls to buy whatever long, burgundy dress they wanted.

I brought my dress to the bridesmaids dress outing (I had an appointment after to find a veil/headpiece). I put it on when I had a final 2 and decided what looked best all together. My dress is kind of similar, it has a lot of tool and no lace. The lace bridesmaid dresses looked too much when next to my dress, so I opted for my other bridesmaid choice that matched better.

Hi Katie!
This would be totally based on your personal preference. You don't have to match the bridesmaid dresses to yours material wise.
Would it be possible to have someone try on the bridesmaid dress and stand next to you while you put yours on? Are they availble in the store? This may help you decide
