I’m getting married this December and I am looking for bridesmaid dresses in a dark Greek color. I ordered this velvet bridesmaid dress from Renz Rags on Etsy for a wedding I was in, and I LOVED it. It fit perfectly (custom made) and was so soft. I love the idea of velvet but I’m such a plain and simple person, I’m over thinking it. Anyone else doing velvet dresses??

That dress is beautiful and I totally don’t think it’s over the top to have your bridesmaid dresses wear velvet. It’s a rich, luxurious fabric for sure but it’s still simple. You could keep accessories to a minimum if you liked!

I LOVE velvet specifically for a winter wedding! The dark green is beautiful and complimentary on most skin tones.
