Bridesmaid Dresses: Uniform or Unique?

My bridesmaids will be wearing the same/similar shade of blue, but they're picking out their dress! I'm providing a color swatch and they can buy whatever dress they want!

They wore the same color/length/fabric but different styles. I prefer the girls be able to wear something that first their style/body type. I also specified no strapless dresses.

I'll probably tell them knee length or above and then whatever fabric they want!

I told my girls they could pick whatever dress they wanted.............I just wanted it to be cobalt blue. When they went to pick, they all actually ended up liking the same style. Worked for me!

I told the girls they could wear whatever they wanted as long as it was floor length and burgundy. I was fine if they wore different styles, but they all ended up picking the same and went with it! Their hairstyles were different though and I loved that. I don't personally like complete uniformity lol

When I originally had planned on having more than one it was going to be one set color and the rest didn't matter. But now I decided I was only having a MOH
