What are your thoughts? Will your bridesmaid's dresses be uniform or unique?

I gave them each a color (each of the 3 has a different color), length, and material and set them loose on Azazie

Same color dresses but different necklines for them.

I told my bridesmaids to find a long white dress with no lace. They then all decided to have halter tops. I think they’ll look similar enough while still showing their personalities.

My maid of honor wore the same dress as my bridesmaids, she really didn't stand out in any way other than standing on my left hand side in most pics and doing a speech. I love the idea of you wearing the same dress at each other's weddings.

Is the material similar to that of your wedding dress?

I considered this option but funny enough most of my girls preferred the one strap style.

My bridesmaids will not be wearing uniform dresses. They will be the same color, a wine and the same colored converse Smiley smile. The only thing is the dress will be the same material. They will have lace on top and chiffon on the bottom. All of my bridesmaids have different body types so I didn’t want them to feel restricted or uncomfortable.

Not really, it is the mesh fabric (looks like chiffon but more comfy and has more stretch); while my dress is lace and tulle

I'm going with unique. I want my girls to feel comfortable in their dresses. I like the look of having mix-matched dresses. I have three bridesmaids so I also don't think it will look overwhelming.

I think I will give my girls the color, and allow them to choose something that they feel comfortable in and can afford 😊

MOH found her dress on the clearance rack at DB the day I bought my dress. My other BM hasn’t gotten her dress yet but I did nudge her this week, it’s getting to be about that time. I told her the DB color, that I prefer but am not ‘requiring’ knee length and the rest is up to her. I’m hoping she’ll actually go this week and get lucky on the sale rack.

I was open to the dresses being the same or different variations of the same shade. We found a really lovely dress and everyone loved them so they will be wearing the same dress. Pockets were a big selling point!

Unique. I only picked the color and I gave them the option to pick whatever dress at any store they wanted as long as it was a long dress.

Mine are uniform in the sense of color and length. I let each girl pick the style they liked. This made it super easy because the height range of the girls is 4’11’’ to 6’ and each girl could pick what was comfortable for them. But for pictures the skirts will all be long and they will all be same color

Definitely, affordability is huge, especially when the girls are buying their own dresses.
