Bridesmaid Dresses and Cost

Hey ladies. If you don’t mind sharing the price of your Bridesmaid dresses, that would help me a lot. I’m trying to be mindful of the cost and keep in mind everyone doesn’t think like me. When I was in my cousin (like a little sister) our dresses were $270 and I didn’t complain but paid happily. ...

LOVE THE DRESS!! And I’m paying for their makeup and of course gifts. None of my bridal party have said anything about the cost of the dresses but I guess they won’t (at least not to me)

Mine didn’t either. I’ve spent a lot as a bridesmaid in the past, so that’s why I figured we’d try a lower cost option first and then work from there. We did like a few higher cost options at the second store, but they all loved this dress the most (and once they saw the price difference they liked it even more 😂)

Everybody’s comfort zone for dress prices differs. I would definitely reach out to your bridesmaids individually (not in a group or group text!) and ask them what price point they are comfortable spending, and then find a dress within that range. If you are letting each of them choose their own styles, you can send each of them suggestions in their own price ranges. If they will all be in the same dress, then you should look only at dresses within the price range of the lowest price quoted by your BMs.

Mine were $200 and includes alterations. David’s does NOT include alterations in their price.

For my brother's wedding it was $99, my friend's were gifted by the groom, and in mine they cost about $60! I couldn't stomach more than $100 on something you realistically will never wear again.

Alternations are included in the cost of our dresses. We’re getting our dresses from Bella Bridesmaids in South Carolina. The designer is Bari Jay.

I think we all know that bridesmaids dresses will never be worn again unless they’re not so “wedding-y”. I probably have about 6 bridesmaids dresses that I’ve all donated to Goodwill or my local non-profit organizations that accept dresses for young girls who want to attend prom but don’t have the money to purchase the dress of their dreams. So to me, it’s not a waste. I just give it to someone who would love it.

I’ll be ordering off azazie and they’ll be about $100. They’re already taking on extra responsibility being in my wedding so I didn’t feel comfortable asking them to spend a lot on a dress. I wouldn’t want to spend $200 on a bridesmaid dress I’ll probably wear once and never touch again

Mine were between $150 - $200, depending on the style they chose. We ordered them from the same shop that I bought my dress at. I am in a wedding the month after mine and she used Azazie, which wasn't badly priced at all. It ended up costing about the same after I did the $10 trial program to make sure I ordered the right size.

I paid $500 for my 6 bridesmaid dresses from Duntery last week. Their dresses are all under $100 which can fit my bridal budget. But their dresses look wonderful. They offer more than 70 trendy hues and stylish styles! What's most surprised me is they offer free custom size service, which saves a lot from the tailor shop.
