I just received a quote from my florist. For my Matron of Honor plus 4 BMs bouquets it will be $85/each not including tax. This would total $456. It would be a small replica of my bouquet and they would have a ribbon wrapped around it. These would be repurposed as centerpieces for the reception. I think that is too much to spend on BMs bouquets.
To save on costs, I’m thinking of ordering a bundle of white Calla Lilly stems from Sam’s Club (35 stems for $60). I could then take about 3 or 5 Lily stems wrap a piece of ribbon around them and use them for the BMs bouquets and these would be repurposed as centerpieces. The remaining lilies from the order could be used as centerpieces on my sweetheart table. By doing this idea NO the BMs bouquet wouldn’t match mine and I’m fine with that but I would rather pay $60 vs paying over $450 from the florist. Has anyone else did something different with their BM bouquet vs their bridal bouquet especially to save on costs?Here is an inspiration picture of what I’m thinking about doing.
