Bridesmaid and maid of honor duties

mine have been attending things with me for support and giving ideas so far but this is what i gave all of them in their gift boxes when i asked them to be in the wedding and my girls loved it said they never knew what they were suppose to do

Probably not as long as the wedding industry exists to sell stuff and doesn't give two shits about whether people have halfway decent manners, normal sized egos, and are being at least minimally good hosts.

Nothing. Just show up on time in their dresses to be by my side. Of course they planned my bridal shower and bach party. Im not asking them to help me with anything. They have their own lives outside of being a BM.

My MOH and I will be making the two BM bouquets the night before, but that will take all of 20 mins, and I might even just end up doing them myself. (when I'm nervous I like to have busy hands--doing something productive is calming, and so is the scent of roses!)

Other than that, I expect them to wear a dress they chose and I paid for, show up on time, and not stir up drama like I've seen on all those tv shows.

Absolutely nothing other than to show up at my wedding in the dress that they purchased. They are my friends, not my employees.
