Brides without veils

Brittany, on May 5, 2019 at 8:00 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16
Spam me with your pics of brides without veils!!
My dress has a beautiful keyhole opening back with buttons all the way up so I’m really considering not having a veil at all to really show the beauty of the dress but also worried about maybe looking ‘less bridal’. Looking for convincing here!

You could always do like a white headband or a really short veil that only goes to your shoulders or the birdcage if you still want that "Bridal" Without covering your back which sounds gorgeous!

Of course yes there’s tons of different options out there it’s almost overwhelming! I was really hoping to see actual pictures of real brides that didn’t have them to see how it looks all together. Pinterest surprisingly wasn’t much help

This is what I'm talking about. I myself an having a veil for the ceremony and taking it out for the reception because my dress has a corset back and I'm thinking of having a colored ribbon on. But anyways these are pics of what I was kind of envisioning

This is my dress and I have no interest in a veil. I think my dress and hair will speak for itself.

I'm wearing my hair half up half down with these pins and no veil. Etsy has an amazing variety of hair pins and flowers to look at!

No veil for this beach bride. We kept some traditions but opted out of this one.

I think birdcage is a consideration for short non back covering veil. It has a classy vintage look. I considered it because I have a high wind location. I am using veil weights.

I myself am wearing a Halo. There are also tiaras and flower crowns. My florist asked if I wanted a flower crown.

I am wearing a cathedral veil for the ceremony and finger tip for the reception. My only back detail is a zipper and lace sleeves. I am looking for some pictures. I will try to respond with some. You have plenty of options.

I’m not doing a veil either, but I am using a clip of some sort to make it look more elegant. This is from my hair trial. I have a strapless dress.

Exactly I have so many options it’s a little overwhelming. Etsy has tons of stuff but it’s hard to imagine the actual look from the pictures they provide especially if it’s only the neck up back of head view. I like seeing actual brides and pictures, helps me visualize it better

What is your dress? Can you give a visual? A model or yourself wearing the dress? What is the time of day, place and season?

The goal is to match a option you are comfortable with and fits. Fits being venue, dress, and time.

My wedding is early afternoon with a southwestern outdoor chapel. I am keeping things very low key on the sparkles. I am using southwestern plants like succulents.

I need like time of day / season / and dress to give you a great opinion. Otherwise, the answers are just there are options.

My sister wore no veil and had a low updo with baby's breath in it. I don't have a photo of the back of her head.SisterBrides without veils 16

What is the Etsy shop you got this from if you don't mind sharing?

You don’t need a veil. It’s more common now that people don’t. Go with what you’re comfortable with. I don’t think you can make a bad decision either way.
