Hey everyone, I've been thinking about this for a while and plan on going to my hair salon and asking as well, but would like to hear from your experiences too.

I've had bangs since I was 16 years old and whenever I try to grow them out I end up missing them and cutting them again. I've been growing them out for about a year now and they're at my chin (which I hate). I'm getting antsy again and want to cut them. The only thing holding me back is that I am worried that I won't be able to achieve the style I want on my wedding day with bangs. Could any of you advise me on whether or not hairspray and hairdresser-magic can help me achieve the look I want? I'm open to opinions about having my bangs down with the hairstyle pictured below as well (not sure if it would look good). I'm also putting up a picture to show what my bangs would be like (thickness/cut) in case that makes any difference.

Thanks for any/all advice!

@FR thank you for the advice, that's a really good idea. This is why I love WW. More minds is better than one.

There are lots of styles that have this on uk.pinterest.com/explore/bangs-updo/ Do you want them sideswept at the wedding? forward? parted? I feel like there are TONS of options. Just google wedding hair with fringe.

Do you want a loose updo?

    Tidy updo?

    Plait?

    Half up half down?

If you love them and they make you feel pretty then keep them! Bangs for the big day are not weird.

I would say not worry too much about it till you talk to your hairdresser and see what she/he says. I actually am contemplating cutting my bangs just like your picture for my wedding and can't decide..lol

These were my bangs day of wedding. I tried growing mine out too, but just couldn't do it.
