May 28, 2022! Hopefully my family doesn't hate me for picking a holiday weekend, but it was either Mother's Day or Memorial Day, so I think we chose wisely!

We decided to have our wedding at a hotel for our venue, we only had to pay for reception & ceremony was free. They included their catering into it, which was a plus also the bar as well. I didn’t do a videographer as we have cell phones & guests can just take videos however they like, I have a photographer in my family so that was a huge saving on money as photographers aren’t cheap. I also have a DJ in the family as well, so that saved us tons too. Transportation we’re not doing as we’re staying on the night of rehearsal & our wedding being the next day. So saved money on that. I’m also using artificial flowers for all bouquets including mine as well as the boutonnières for the groomsman, also corsages for the mother of groom & my mom. Save a ton that way too. We managed to budget our entire wedding under $10k. Also outlets for bridesmaids/maid of honor & bridal dresses are the BEST way to go if you’re on a budget for a dress as well as your bridal party. Renting tuxes is also cheaper if their on a budget as well. I bought my wedding shoes separate & my jewelry, saving on that too. Also I have a family friend who does hair & makeup so I’m saving tons as well. Wedding packages for venues are a PLUS into saving tons of money. Are you having troubles finding certain vendors for a budget or your dress etc? Cause I’m willing to help anyway I can.
