Are you doing real flowers? We’re using sola wood flowers for our decorations and doing it all ourselves. My bouquet I’ll be ordering off Etsy but it’ll also be made out of sola wood flowers

Those all sound delicious! Definitely a good variety for guests to choose from. Plus, dessert tastings are always fun. Enjoy!! Do you have specific flavors in mind for the cupcakes? Or waiting to taste a few options first?

I attempted to work with the Sola wood flowers a while back, but quickly learned that I am not skilled in bouquets lol 😆 so we're going with real flowers, but we have no clue what kinds yet or anything. Awesome that your bouquet will be Sola wood flowers!! Do you have a picture of what it will look like?

That's such a meaningful date that you chose! Very cool. Thank you to your fiance for his service in the Army! How is your planning going? What's next on your wedding to-do list?

We’re officially getting to the point where we can worry about the small details like decor placements and ordering stuff for the reception. Still so much to do but I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! I also have my first fitting in a few weeks that I am looking forward to so much 🥰
Wedding planning is going really well actually. Being organized and doing one thing at a time has helped a lot. I started out doing a lot of research, got in touch with a wedding planner and that helped map out my path. So far, I have the dress from Aurora Bridal (I purchased a year in advance), I have my photography (Enchanted Rose Photography), Music (Barwick Entertainment & Ocean Strings Quartet , Vero Beach, Venue (Walt Disney Resort, Vero Beach) w/ package deal (cake, food, chairs, set up and clean up, ceremony and after lunch/dinner banquet (all still has to be planned with wedding venue), and I have the officiant.
I just have to work on the little things like my makeup and hair, shoes, invites (guest list), groom details, alterations on dress and any other little things I need to do on the way. We are trying to keep our budget low and it takes planning a year in advance to get the research and items picked out.
Believe it when I say we want a worry free celebration, because my wedding coordinator is also my wedding decorator. We are good when it comes to the flowers for the ceremony and for my reception. All the entourages flowers, buttoneers including my bouquet is included in her task. For my wedding favors though, is another story I bought a cricut maker and did all my personalization. With flowers though, I suggest simplicity.....dont be scared of using a lot of greeneries and inserts, it really helps with the cost. Lots of flower arrangements out there that is really beautiful and elegant without breaking your bank. You have lots of time! Don't stress
