We dated for a year and broke up because neither of us was ready to be in a relationship. 6 years later, we found each other again. This time we were ready and it’s for good.

We got engaged on a rainy day at the Garfield Park Conservatory and my fiancé had a couple friends secretly take pictures. I made my fiancé eat a spicy pepper from the garden and he used the pepper as an excuse to get “water” out of his bag, but he actually got the ring out. Then he really needed water because it was very spicy! It was perfect, sweet and a little silly. I loved it! The ring is my great grandmother’s setting that was missing a center stone. The center stone passed was down through John’s family. It’s a beautiful combination of our two families.

I love my ring!! It's not big or fancy or even expensive, but it holds a lot of meaning for my fiance and myself because its an eternity knot and it was made in Ireland which ties into our Irish roots, our wedding bands are also from Ireland

October 18th, 2020 - a family fun day out at the pumpkin patch - was scheming with the littles 🥰 trapped me in a corn maze with my daughter and his - facetime’d both our moms got down on one knee and proposed.

Although you can't tell by the picture the heart is a morganite and rose gold. I picked it out and I love my ring!

I got engaged on November 2nd, getting married next November!
We went to take our four year old son to the park and he had him ask “Will you marry my dad?” 💙
