Hi fellow 2021 brides! This picture by our friend Kaitlyn Johnston (kaitlynjohnstonphotography.com) showcases both the claddagh promise ring my now-fiance got me a month after we started dating in 2015 and the ring he proposed to me with last month, almost exactly four years later!
The center stone of this diamond is 150 years old and belonged to his great grandmother. The stones surrounding it are staggered to mimic flower petals, and combined with the wedding band (technically bands plural, as it consists of two bands that sandwich the engagement ring), they form a full flower.
Congratulations to all you beautiful ladies! These next couple of years are going to be so exciting for us
We met October 9th 2010 and started dating November 5th 2010. He finally proposed on Father's Day, June 16th, 2019, in front of my entire extended family. It was a whirlwind weekend where we had celebrated my Grandmother's 90th birthday, my sister's baby shower for her first child, and of course father's day, but before anyone left the party he dropped to the knee. It was perfect!
