    August 10, 2019 ❤️❤️ My fiancé is in the navy so our relationship has been long distance. He was stationed in Spain so we planned a trip for me to visit him and explore Europe. He proposed on our way to the Eiffel Tower.

    I wanted something practical, understated, and unconventional. I've never been a jewelry person - honestly couldn't care less - and I can't even imagine expecting someone to spend a lot of money on me, so I told my fiance that I wanted something very "delicate" that I wouldn't worry about losing (I lose everything) and that I could wear with everything (the very few accessories I wear are always yellow gold; silver looks terrible on me). Bezel cut so that it won't scratch my nephews or snag my sweaters. Matte finish because I don't like shiny things.

    I love my Chocolate and white diamond ring. It was a gift to my fiancé’s mom from his dad who has since passed. She wanted me to have it. Also is perfect for my style!
