He brought me back to the first place we ever vacationed, he knew it was my favorite place and due to college and work we had missed going up every year for about 5 years! This place is very special to my and my family and he knew that. Although our story isnt perfect... it perfectly fits us!
The day before we took this beautiful scenic chair lift to the top of McCauley mountain, on the way up it started to rain so we braved the weather a little to see the sites and headed back down. While were in line I hear what sounds like a ring box snap closed and at the moment I was frozen lol we got onto the chair lift and unfortunately he forgot to put the ring in the right box (he had gotten a smaller box so I wouldnt be able to see it) . We laughed about it and spent the rest of the day with my family. Sunday was here and we were checking out of our cottage. I had ran to my car (we had to drive separate becuase he was working out of town) and when I came back into the cottage there he was down on one knee ring in hand and best of all he had both our dogs sitting next to him 😍 it was PERFECT!

He proposed at Pretty Place Chapel, just two days shy of our third anniversary. I thought we were just meeting my best friend and her husband for a fun photo shoot. He dropped on one knee and surprised me with this in the middle of taking pictures. I'm obsessed with my ring!

2021 can come soon enough 🥰

My fiance and I already have our wedding rings. I put his name on mine and the date we started seeing each other on it. I am also wearing my engagement ring as you can see.
We are going to put our wedding date on the inside of the ring.
I and so looking to our wedding date May 29th 2021.

I can’t believe I’m engaged! Met at work, he was my boss🙃. Few years later, became best friends. Started dating, and five years later - 💍!

He recreated our first date and there was no other answer but yes!

You can't see it from this angle but on either side is the Celtic love knot and inside the band is an imprint of a shamrock. We designed it together and he proposed on top of a mountain in Alaska in july.
