Got engaged July 28, 2019 - can't believe it's already been a month! He proposed on a trip to CA (where I'm from) in Monterey which was the very first place I took him after we started dating and one of our favorite places to come back to. We live in VA, and he had flown out to Seattle a little over a month before this without me knowing to ask my parents in person. The stone is the one his dad used to propose to his mom, and he designed the entire ring - special all around and feeling so, so lucky that I get to marry this guy!! Date isn't booked yet but looking at fall 2021
