So my fiancé and I were talking, we don’t think we’re going to gift each other something the day of our wedding. Is that ok!? I mean we’re paying for a destination wedding! We were thinking of instead hand written notes? Has anyone not done gifts?

We probably won't be doing gifts either, just nice cards to each other. We are leaving shortly after on a once in a lifetime honeymoon trip so that's our gift to each other, time alone making memories!

I was going to get him something, but he found a photo of it that I left out and let me know that he'd rather not do day-of gifts, so we're skipping them.

Do It! He'll love it if it's you. I recently got the guts to buy lingerie and he was happy I got it for him.

I believe that's a personal preference. Definitely not necessary but a hand written note gives a romantic personal touch

We didn't do gifts. We decided our wedding and honeymoon were gift enough lol. Neither of us loves to shop for gifts.

We hardly ever do gifts to each other for anything. Christmas and birthdays we usually skip gifting each other to save money, so I expect we will do the same for wedding gifts dealio as well.

Thank you for writing this an asking I was just wondering as I was kind of upset my FH didnt want to do but I am writing him a little book on reasons I want to marry him and I think I am going to do a boudoir so those are gifts enough
