I found something awesome for my FH that will correlate well for our honeymoon and was thinking of giving it to him on our wedding day as a gift. Everything I've read online seems to say that the exchanging of gifts on the day-of might be outdated, but it IS tradition and so I'm stuck. Are you...

Are you giving your future S.O. a gift on your wedding day? Is it mutual (e.g. your F.S. is giving a gift as well) or is it just you? Are you specifically NOT exchanging gifts and why not?
Bc our wedding is in Feb, I am thinking of just giving this gift for the holidays but don't want to miss an opportunity as far as timing goes. So any real or positive ideas would help. Thanks!

We did gifts, and we talked about it prior so we were on the same page. We gifted them the night of our wedding when we got back to the hotel room. He gifted me a fur jacket I've always wanted, and I gave him a hunting rifle & personalized bible. We wrote each other letters as well!

Yes. Our wedding isn't until 4pm so I'm setting up a tee time for him and his groomsmen for 8am to go golfing the morning of our wedding (he knows about that part). His gift that he doesn't know about is a set of new golf clubs that he's been talking about getting for months. His boss - who is one of his best friends - helped me pick them out and they will be at the golf course waiting for him when he gets there with a little card from me.

I have another gift for his best man to give him while he is getting ready but those are just New York Ranger cuff-links to wear with his suit, and a letter I'm going to hand write for him.
