Bridal shower NON games - HELP

Games that aren't games??

What do you mean games that aren't games?

So confused!

I personally am not a fan of bridal shower games. Maybe people will just want to socialize and drink?

I'm not a fan of traditional shower games, so as an alternative we are having BINGO. My sister designed blank boards that each guest can fill in with items from the registry list that they think I'll receive. Then since watching someone else open presents isn't that fun, they can enjoy some cocktails and play BINGO. We have prizes for those that win!

The bingo idea sounds fun. At my sister's shower we randomly set an egg timer and if it went off when the bride was opening your gift, you won a prize. The guests really got a kick out of it and no one had to get out of their comfort zone in any way. Hope that helps!

At my bridal shower they put pictures of men under each seat, whoever had DH got a prize.

We're doing a raffle. Everyone that comes in gets a ticket and at the end that person gets a prize

I'm just going to say, if you are going to go this route plan to only have people there for an hour. My friend did the same thing and the only things we did were open gifts and eat. After that was done we kinda just sat around staring at each other until her FH came at the end like they typically do to say thank you. One of her BM had to sneak away and tell him to get to the shower immediately because there was nothing going on. Just be prepared for that! I get that games are corny sometimes, but think of something everyone might enjoy as a game that you don't find as corny.
