My FI's sister had her baby shower at Sorrento's in Franklin Park and the food was really good. They did a buffet and it was great. I believe the prices were pretty good as well, maybe around $10-$15 per person.

Mine was at a rec center in Tinley Park. You would need to bring everything in yourself, but if your just looking for a physical space, a rec center might be the way to go.

Otherwise I went to a baby shower at a tea house in Frankfort

I attended one at the Midlothian Golf Course a few years ago and it was really nice. I'm located in the Western Suburbs but I'm getting married in NWI and we are doing the Lighthouse in Cedar Lake. It's right on the lake and the banquet areas have an AWESOME view of the lake.

I think I found a golf course in glendale heights that will do a sit down dinner with tax & service charge for just under $20.00
