Bridal Shower Invites vs Wedding Invites

Hi ladies... I read some comments from a previous discussion this morning, regarding how far out a Bridal Shower should be before the Wedding. However, my next concern is when do I send out my invites?? Everywhere I have read, the "rule is," to send all innovations 6-8 weeks before the event. My Bridal Shower is 11 weeks before my wedding. I can't send my Bridal Shower invites before my wedding invitations! Or can I...??

It’s completely fine to send out shower invites before wedding invites.

You totally can! My wedding is in October and the shower is Labor Day weekend. Because it s a holiday we are sending them out a little early. We are sending shower invites July and wedding invites August. Because the shower is before the wedding is not weird to get the invite before either!

Whoever is hosting your shower is responsible for sending the invitations. I believe our shower invites were sent out between 1.5 months & 2 months before the shower.

It's definitely okay to send out bridal shower invites before wedding invites since bridal showers are normally before the wedding.

It’s totally fine to send shower invites before wedding invites. Most guest know they are invited to shower because of the save the date. At least that’s how it is for me. my shower invites are going out to weeks before my wedding invites because my shower is four weeks before I get married.
