Bridal Shower Brunch Food Ideas

Kimberly, on February 2, 2018 at 9:23 AM Posted in Planning 0 8
Hey guys! Ask for my MOH as she does not have an account. What kind of food should we have for a bridal shower brunch at her place? Nothing too formal. Thanks! She was thinking a mimosa bar, but no food ideas.

I second quiche. Pastries, muffins, perhaps a strata or breakfast casserole, deli tray with assorted breads and condiments, and perhaps a baked chicken or pasta entree. Salads. Juices.

We threw a brunch shower for my friend and we did quiche, breakfast casserole, assorted fruit, melba toast with salmon and cream cheese, cupcakes, a mimosa bar (orange juice, cranberry juice, and champagne) and a bloody mary bar (bloody mary mix, olives, cheese cubes, pepperoncinis, tabasco sauce, and vodka).

I think all the food options that the PPs said are good ideas. It’s probably obvious but I’d also say coffee/tea as well.

Drinks: coffee, tea, juice, etc. in addition to the mimosas and bloody marys

Food: breakfast casserole (eggs, onions, peppers, and hash browns), bacon, sausage, Caprese salad, waffles, bagels, english muffins, plus cream cheese, lox, maple syrup, butter, etc. Also, if you want a more substantial option to cover lunch too maybe a lasagna or try of mac and cheese and cold cuts with buns.

Dessert: cinnamon rolls, donuts, muffins, fruit salad, and yogurt parfait

Those little sandwich rolls… I don't actually know what they're called but they are very good. Do some chips and dip, different fruits, cheese and crackers just your basic party snack foods.

I'm having a waffle bar. A lot of waffle and mimosa bar items can overlap (fruits) so hopefully it'll make things easier instead of harder. My sister's in charge, that's all I know.
