Bridal Shower: Are you inviting moms/grandmas or just the girls?

I don't know much about bridal showers yet, but I'm looking into it. A lot of the "popular themes" are kind of racy (lingerie, cocktails) or seem meant for a small group of women (spa day, getaway weekend.) Can you have your mom and grandma at a cocktail event? Seems potentially inappropriate. Are you all inviting all the important women in your life, or just your girlfriends? Or are you having a jack-n-jill (and if so, why?) If not, is FH allowed to be at the shower at all? I read that there is a tradition where the FH shows up with a bouquet right before gifts are opened, but I'm not sure about how it usually works

My mom and MIL both have a racy streak-- I would have been happy to have them at my lingerie party. Unfortunately, my aunts and grandmothers live so far away they weren't even a possibility.

I am inviting both my mom and FMIL to the bridal shower. My grandma would of been there, but she will be on vacation during that time (she's going away for the entire summer, but changed her flight to come back a few days earlier for the wedding). I invited a good amount of the females that's invited to the wedding, but not all of them.

FH would not be at the bridal shower. He wanted 5 people from his side of the wedding, so I invited them. I invited maybe about 10 females who would not be at the wedding (one girl flat out told me she wanted to come even though she won't be at the wedding, 2 are females mom wanted to invite, and with the other 7 when I was planning shower with bridal party they said I should invite them so this way they're included in smthn regarding the wedding. despite what the WW police would say about this they were all very happy to be invited and said of course they'll be there... In the text I sent them I informed them that I was having a small and intimate wedding, so we weren't able to invite everyone. I then asked if they'll be interested in attending the bridal shower.

At the bridal shower, we're having food, sangria, desserts, games, etc. It would be in a backyard and guest would be sitting at tables. All guest would have on all white for my bridal shower.

My best friends is in control of that one. My bachelorette party will be my close friends. Dont know location or anything just showing up. So excited
