Is it custom to not have a bridal shower for brides getting married for the 2nd time? Just wondering. No one has mentioned it so I was just curious. Tell me what you think? Be nice as this is just an inquiry. :-)

I don't see why not. This is FH's second marriage- they never had a shower the first time around either but still.

It's been mentioned to me that a member of my family might be throwing me one as we get close to the date. If that happens, I'll be thrilled! No idea if it's customary, but I'd have no problem attending a shower for a second wedding and I hope anyone my family member invites feels the same.

This is my second wedding and it appears my bridesmaids are planning my shower. It's my FH first wedding.

I think that you should get a bridal shower with all the fun games and things, but I do not think that guests should be expected to bring any gifts. They already "blessed" you with gifts the first time.
