My Fiance just got a call from Bridal Registry, Inc., yesterday - any information regarding this company?

They're stating she won 3 prizes, some cook ware (I think), vouchers totaling $1,000 for various food stores/cook ware stores and then a 3 day/2 night trip to a bunch of destinations both inside and outside of the states. Do I beleive any of this? No. Will I end up having to go to it, most likely (ha).

Seems entire like a scam, or at least there is a catch (per any "free" give-away). I did notice that for the all-inclusive trip there is a specific hotel chain you have to go through, and you are required to pay any taxes on your 3 day/2night stay...well the cheapest room these hotels have is $999.99 PER NIGHT.

Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced dealing with Bridal Registry, Inc. before I get dragged to an hour presentation tonight at 8:30pm (the timing alone is fishy to me).

Thanks for any info!

Anyone have recent experiences with this? Just received a text after going to a bridal show saying I won a prize. Honestly, I was super excited. I remembered the stand. It was the only stand without a person.

But, I am thinking just a hard pass on this. I have read all the comments and checked out the better business bureau reviews. I hate to be rude, but I just don't want to sit through a presentation. It's not really a prize if I have to do something to get it. But that's just me.

Hello! So you went to the hour and a half presentation to get the JVL giftcard? You didn’t have to pay for anything?

I received a text message yesterday saying my fiancé and I won a package, too. I was also wondering if it’s a scam or real. I’m going to try calling the number.

We 'won' too. We sat through the demonstration together. Sales person wasn't pushy at all. At the end they asked if we wanted to purchase any. We said no was given our promotions and left. To us it was worth it. About 90 minutes and we get 2 champagne flutes engraved, $600 gift card for wedding bands for my FH and a trip (3 days 2 nights at an international all inclusive resort) yes there are stipulations to the travel. You have to pay the taxes and you can't use it to stay over the weekend 🤷🏻‍♀️ you can add extra days on if you so choose - allowing you to stay on the weekend. All in all yes they do try to sell you something. You do t have to buy ANYTHING you get your stuff.
