Bridal party with too much opinion

Taylor, on May 15, 2019 at 9:06 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3
So 3/4 of my bridal party has been informed they’re in my party and so far 2 of them, one of which being my co-man of honor (my bf and I are doing equal genders in each side because my two closest friends are men) and one of my bridesmaids seem to have more ideas for my wedding than I do, including making themselves more a center of attention than me. How exactly do I handle that?

Express to her that you respect her opinions but that ultimately the decisions will be made by you and your future spouse

Be a bridezilla and tell them it's your day and it's your spotlight. You can either do it the good way or the zilla way but let them know in the end is yours and your hubby to be's decision! Good luckl

    Hi Taylor!

This is a tricky thing to handful tactfully, however, try to bear in mind they’re probably super excited to be a part of your wedding day and super enthusiastic at the moment. It’s nice to have this support and you will really appreciate it down the line, even if it’s annoying you a bit at the moment.

Are there some specific tasks you could assign them that you wouldn’t mind them taking lead on? This may keep them out of the aspects of planning you would rather they were not involved with, and give them something to channel all their enthusiasm and ideas into!
