Bra or No Bra?

I go for my alterations appointment on Sunday. Till this point I had just planned on wearing no bra, seeing as my dress is strapless. My question is, is it best to wear a bra and shape wear or does it matter?

I agree it depends. If you have places you need smoothed out go with the shapewear.

I am a plus sized bride and with my dress we tried it both ways. The shapewear and bra did nothing, so I will be bra-less and no shapwear.

I have a backless dress so I am having the seamstress sew in cups.

While my dress wasn't strapless, it was backless so I had cups sewn in and it was the best thing ever. I will never wear a bra with a formal dress again.

I'm getting cups sewn in, I need support but I don't want to be busting out all over.

@Becoming a Mrs... we are dress twins!! I've only tried the dress on with a shaper bra... might try braless next fitting!
