Bra help!

Kelsey, on August 30, 2019 at 9:49 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So I tried on a gown I never thought would buy and ended up falling in love and getting it now my issue is I have a larger chest (38DDD) for the dress as the top is a nude/ champagne mesh and the cups that were in it just aren’t all there. If you have any ideas that would be so great also I’m thinking sandals as it’s in the woods and I hate shoes any ideas

I plan on wearing something like this with my dress and I'm a 38F. It's has a million hooks that hug my figure so it stays up and doesn't feel loose

Maybe a nude bra with the clear convertible straps? I know as a busty gal myself, I can't go with a standard strapless bra or it's a disaster. Strapless corset bra might work too if you don't mind corsets. If you go that route, I personally recommend adding more stiffer boning because they never put strong enough boning for busty ladies.

A longline bra like Amber recommended will stay up, regardless of size. It is supported by boning that extends upward from your hips, so it can't slip down.

Another alternative would be to have your alterations person sew better cups into the dress itself.

I too am large chested (32J) and had some concerns about a bra. What I've been told is that a seamstress should be able change the cups in the dress to better suit your needs for your dress. They've told me a seamstress will be able to fit my dress so well that I won't even need a bra, which shall be the first time in my life this has ever happened!

Can't wait to see if they can do what they've promised.

I have the exact same chest size and I'm planning on wearing one of those strapless "corset" type things. Hook and eye instead of lacing it up tho. The ones from David's Bridal are kinda pricey but definitely hold the girls up incredibly well!
