Bow tie or Long tie

My FH really wants to wear a bow tie so the ring bearers and him will be wearing them and the GM wearing long ties

Bow ties are for a more elegant, distinguished look . It depends on your wedding theme. I for one love bow ties and how it makes a man looks but this is your wedding and it should be what you and your husband to be wants.

Oh I like this idea, mixing of ties. So many possibilities to explore.

FH wanted bowties. So we got them for his groomsmen a couple of months ago and he gave the ties to them early so they can practice tying it for the big day. There are tons of youtube tutorials out there. FH didn't want pretied for some reason.

What does your FH like? I like bow ties, but my FH strongly prefers regular ties. So regular ties it is.

Oh, that makes it harder! Does he have his suit yet? It's possible that trying one of each on would help. At the end of the day, bow ties are more casual as a rule, but I think mixing them with ties for a more eclectic look skews less formal.

We are doing long ties, but it really is just a preference thing so you should choose what you like best.

Our guys are doing pre-tied bowties! That was one thing FH wanted!
