Bouts or corsages for mob/mog?

What is everyone doing for the moms, bouts or corsages? I hadn't even thought about it until today. Corsages seem so old school to me, but do mom's wear bouts? Also, are the moms supposed to walk down the aisle, or just take a seat? I have seen both at weddings before but not sure what the norm is. ...

    I asked my mom what she wanted, but she said nothing. She thinks they look matronly. Maybe I'll ask her about the small bouquet idea that PPs suggested.

    MOB at my friends wedding a couple weeks ago had a corsage that was made on a silver slap band (those ridiculous bracelets from early 90s) it looked modern and she said it was comfortable
