Boutonnieres and Corsages for Grandparents?

What do you guys think about boutonnieres and corsages for the grandparents? My mom said that it's optional for the grandparents to get them, but I think it's a nice gesture to do.

My grandparents will get flowers. I think it's a nice way to include them

I would rather the MOB get a corsage than me get a corsage. I love flowers and will happily wear one, if there is an extra.

I think it's a nice idea if you can afford it. On the subject (sort of) COUNT your bouts (cannot spell that word to save my life!) and corsages before you leave the florist (or have whoever picks them up do it). My sister mentioned she was in a wedding where they were one corsage short (the MOG was NOT impressed), then, sure enough, I was stiffed one, and then I read on here about someone else who was short one corsage on the day of. I don't go to a lot of weddings, so having heard of three times where this happened seems like a lot to me.

We've never been asked to do a bout for an officiant. We do plenty of grandparents' bouts and corsages -- pretty standard. For brides on a tight budget who want to honor their grandmothers with a corsage but can't really fit it into the budget (bouts are far less expensive, so there's usually money for them), ask your florist to set aside a long stemmed rose for the grandmothers to carry as they as escorted down the aisle. It's very inexpensive and it honors them.

I think it depends on the size of your wedding. If it is a big wedding then yes if it is small wedding then I don't feel it is necessary.

I originally ordered one short but I fixed it within a day of the order. We may unfortunately end up with an extra bot because my grandpa is terminal and we don't know how long he will make it, but if we still have his I will either give it to my grandma or pin it inside my dress. For now I'm just hoping he'll be there.
