Boutonniere & Corsage Alternative

There is no need for anyone to have flowers except for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, moms and dads. Sometimes, GM don't even have bouts and you could do pocket squares instead. However, honestly, bouts are pretty cheap. There's absolutely no need for siblings, nieces, nephews, etc. to have flowers.

You can really use anything! Something interesting like skeleton keys tied with bows or wooden flower pins for the boutonnieres. Paper flowers or pretty greenery tied with a thin ribbon for either the bouts or the corsages. These would all be things that are easy to make a lot of with low cost. Have fun with it!

We were talking about it yesterday with the wedding party. Some suggested to use medals (that's what they used). I figured I can now use my theme to play off of it. So I may not end up doing flowers or pockets squares.

I would say most men couldn't possibly care less about flowers so I think bouts aren't necessary. I think the pocket square idea is a good one. Or just letting them know how much you value their involvement in your wedding with something like a nice, personalized card. But if the bouts are super important to you and your FH, pinterest has a ton of really creative ideas for non floral bouts.
