Is there anyone else using fake flowers for your Bouquet? I got fake for the wedding party but is it ok to use fake for mine?

I'm using fake flowers for bridesmaids and myself. I searched Facebook marketplace in my area and bought them off another bride. Way cheaper and I had 0 work to do. Flowers aren't our priority anyway. We did the same thing with our centerpieces.

It's totally ok to use fake flowers for your own bouquet, and I actually think it will probably look better if all of your florals are the same type. For example, I think real flowers right next to sola wood flowers might look odd, although I've heard you can sometimes mix silk and real flowers without it looking too obvious. If we were getting married indoors or during the winter I probably would have gotten sola wood flowers for all of our decor.

I’m using silk flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms for my bouquets! Much more affordable and less waste!

The vendor name is Posieflowers. She was fantastic about any customization I requested, and the price for everything was reasonable. I paid about 1k (including tax) for that cascading bouquet, 6 wrist corsages for my bridesmaids, 12 boutonnieres, a flower crown and 10 centerpiece arrangements. I'll probably put it all up for sale after our wedding.

I got all of our bouquets on Amazon from a company called Duovlo. I chose peonies! They're beautiful and they look almost real and will photograph well. I purchased 5 bouquets at $10 a piece and will put 2 together to make mine. (Total cost: $50 for 3 bridesmaids and myself.) We're adding some fresh baby's breath the morning of to all the bouquets. And when the wedding is over, we'll put them in a vase on our dining room table because they're beautiful!

It's your wedding! if you want to go artificial - go for it. I went with all artificial, except my bouquet, but really, no shame in artificial bouquets at all. It's just with wooden bouquet I'd be afraid of it breaking overtime, say if we move to a new house; artificial flowers would be crushed and deformed or it would be difficult to incorporate into new decor, or they might fade overtime. Now I can't even remember what happened to my real bouquet -I wish I'd preserved it in some way. So those are the things you just might want to consider. If you go with real, you have more options I think.
