Bouquets

I'm using fake for mine! I have awful allergies & sensitive skin, plus I loved how cheap they were compared to real & feel like mine look great!

I have a really good friend that suggested getting flowers from hobby lobby and making a Bouquet. What are your thoughts about that or what company’s did you all use for your fake flowers?

Absolutely! I ordered a wooden bouquet from Etsy! I’ve heard great things and you get to keep it forever!

Oh definitely, I'm using fake flowers for mine, and I don't care one bit. Flowers aren't a big part for us at all.

I purchased a cheap artificial bouquet from Etsy. Even if I choose not to keep it after shipping and handling it only cost me $35. I may spend a few dollars more to add some colorful orchids or roses to it. For me I'm not a huge flower person and I just couldn't justify the price of real flowers.

It's definitely fine! Do whatever you think will look best! I'm doing all fake flowers for my whole wedding.

I'm going for fake flowers for a few reasons.

1) I like having the freedom to have exactly what I want, regardless of the time of year

2) I can dress them up or down to my preference

3) I don't have to worry about keeping them looking fresh

4) It's an opportunity to get crafty

I won’t receive my bouquet until next month since our wedding isn’t until May, so I can’t speak for having it in person yet. The owner, Afton, has been great to work with so far, though!! Very responsive and sweet. I got my bridesmaids hoop wreath “bouquets” from Oriental Trading. Those did arrive and I’m very happy with them!

Yes I am using fake flowers. Since the AC. Moore arts and craft store is closing everything is on sale. My total bouquet cost 10 bucks and I love it because it reflects my style. Its not complete I'm still in progress!

Im actually using fake as well. I know it goes against the theme of "plants" but I want a huge cascade bouquet and I dont want any of it to wilt. Probably will end up a mixture (real greenery, faux flowers) bc my MOH is really excited about how we're gonna use houseplants in the bridesmaids bouquets.

I'm using fake flowers for mine and all the bridesmaids. They way I look at it is that way I will always have them for the rest of my life.

I plan to order a fake bouquet made from book pages off Etsy. They also make beautiful wood bouquets. These can all be repurposed as part of your home decor after the wedding!

Use whatever you want. I went artificial for all the flowers, via an Esty vendor. I LOVE the arrangements she customized for me. My cascading bouquet is absolutely stunning.

Its perfectly fine to use fake flowers for yourself.

You can use fake flowers for anything you want.
I will likely use fake.

The selection was great and price was perfect too (take advantage of their frequent half off sales). The most difficult part was trimming the stems.. before I started making the bouquets I didn’t know that the stems are actually a piece of wire coated in thick green plastic.. (just get some solid clippers and a wire cutter to get the job done). Then I taped them together and covered the tape worn burlap

I say do whatever makes you happy. I was originally going to use fake flowers but had a change of heart and was so glad I did. The smell of real flowers is breath taking. I just love real flowers too much!
