Bouquet toss with prize?

We are doing anyone that wants to participate amd I'm making a bouquet of scratch offs and he is sticking a $50 in the garter. We will probably do it the traditional way mostly because my family is pushing me to because I'm so untraditional lol. But knowimg him he will do a song that will make me laugh.... Something from backstreet boys or spice girls. God only knows with him....lol

Yess! I definitely think having a prize and really letting anyone participate (although I am not too sure letting small children participate if you are having kids there) I feel like it's more an adult thing. I mean it could be "fun" for little kids but I would try to aim it at an adult hahah! Yeah I never understood the "single" thing cuz I have never been to a wedding that does that. Most of our friends are couples as well anyway

Yeah I’m thinking about not doing it at all
because I don’t want him under my dress in front of everyone. Super uncomfortable for both of us. I’ve thought of just taking it off or just having a tossing garter and not even wearing it and giving it to him to toss but I don’t know. Just thinking about skipping it in general since most the single people are in our wedding party and there’s not many of them.

Instead of having everyone crowd together in hopes of catching something, we are having people write their names on little flags and planting them in the ground. In my family, the hardest part is getting everyone out of their seats to jostle together and fight for catching something. This way, whomever's flag is closest to where the bouquet lands get a prize!

What did you end up doing!? I was thinking the same thing just so more people will be involved lol
