Bouquet help!

Holly, on January 15, 2020 at 9:11 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6
I'm at a loss on what to do about a bouquet. I love the idea of magnolias. I think it's a classic & southern look. I also don't want a huge bouquet covering up my gorgeous dress. I'm attaching a picture of what I think is perfect. However my MOH & my Mother both said that's not a bouquet & it has to be bigger. Thoughts?!Bouquet help! 1

It may not be a bouquet, but that doesn't mean you couldn't carry that in place of one! Lots of brides have opted for bouquet alternatives, whether it be a single flower or something entirely unrelated to flowers. If you like it, you should use it Smiley smile

I kind of agree that it doesn't look like a bouquet. I think the way the flowers are arranged in your photo looks odd so maybe if it was arranged differently it would look better. What about something more like this photo?

You can do something minimal as each bride is different. I think that particular one does not look the best because it seems long and sparse but I think you could do something to that affect. I like what the PP posted and it looks nice.

Same. I think the amount of flowers is fine, but they could maybe be arranged to look a little less sparse. Or could be filled in with a small amount of greenery.

That said, if this is how you envision it and it's perfect to you then go for it! Everyone's tastes are different.

I like the idea of adding some more greenery. That would be lovely.

We are also going with Magnolia's in our wedding floral's and have found some lovely silk ones that are not too large. You will for sure need something with a little more detail than that you are holding there, it honestly just looks like a stick with some flower's on it. I would look for grouping's of these flowers and add in some greenery and maybe some dried grasses?
