Boudoir Pictures Done By A Male Photographer

Not necessarily, as long as they're reputable and have solid portfolios. Lots of fashion photographers are men and they photograph naked models all the time.

If I was getting b-pics with a male photographer I would bring a friend with me. Even male ob/gyns don't get up close and personal with female patients unless someone else is in the room.

FWIW I think FH would probably enjoy sexy pics of me less if he knew a man took them. So I personally would go for a female photographer, but that's just me.

I did my boudoir pics with 2 women photographers and 1 man. I was nervous at first, but he and the ladies made me feel very comfortable. He photographs nude models (not porn though!) so he knew how to get my good sides lol. You can definitely bring a friend with you. And your FH doesn't have to know that it was a male photographer lol.

Well since he's male, he may also help with poses since he should know what guys want to see/or not see

Whether you're male or female, if you're a true professional your work will speak for itself.

Boudoir photography is very personal and very intimate so it's important to be comfortable with your photographer. I suggest meeting with him and seeing what he's like. Discuss your concerns openly and perhaps he can help ease your fears. Perhaps he has a female assistant or perhaps you can have one of your best girlfriends attend the shoot with you for moral support.

At the end of the day, you need to choose someone you're comfortable with because your comfort level will reflect in the photos!
