How many months before the wedding date were all of your vendors booked?

1 year up before. Good vendors are taken very fast

It seems so sticky now with COVID-19 but I'd say 9-12 months before your actual date

We’re having a long engagement so we did things a bit early. We booked venue, photographer, and dj 26-25 months out. We’re now about 18 months out and are exploring the options for our other vendors, but aren’t in a rush to book.

Pre-COVID, we had everything booked 7-10 months in advance. For our mid-COVID mini-wedding, everything was about 2 months ahead.

We're March 2021, and we got engaged in December. Our goal was to get the venue locked down, then photographer and catering, and then coast a bit on florist/DJ/etc. COVID shut everything down right as we were talking to caterers, and we hit the gas on everything else. Basically we wanted to make sure that we're booked with everything before fall postponements start.
Venue & Photographer: 13 months out
Coordinator: 11 months out
Florist & DJ: about 10 months out
Catering: about 8 months out (booking this week)
Cake: probably about 7 months out (this is our last one)
I bought my dress at the end of April, and it's in a couple months early. I also reached out to my seamstress once I had purchased it and let her know our date so that she could have me roughly on her calendar also.

Venue, planner/DOC, catering, photographer & officiant- 10 months
Florist, Baker, & DJ - 9 months
Hair/Make up - 8 months
Videographer - 6 months
We had an 11 month engagement.

We got engaged in December and had to move quickly since I wanted an Oct wedding (CT in the fall is beautiful and books up QUICK!) so we had the venue booked within days followed by the church and hotel block. Those were all done 10 months out. I had deposits on photographer, band, hair/makeup, dress and had booked transportation by February, so 8 months out. I did invites and flowers 5 months out. We postponed until next October now due to Covid but I’m glad I have everything booked! And luckily all our vendors were available so it was just an easy date swap.
